Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and competitiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the produce industry.
• Strong knowledge of produce industry practices and trends.
• Familiarity with Hunts Point Terminal operations is a plus.
• Proficiency in Produce Pro or similar produce industry software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
